Who we are

Path Daily is an Android puzzle game published by Guildaig Ltd. This policy covers Path Daily, package com.divin.pathdaily, and describes version 0.4.0. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].

Players connect numbered squares in order and visit every square once. Daily challenges, practice, Super Hard abilities, hints, weekly completion stamps, music and sound effects work locally. Path Daily has no app-operated backend, account system, cloud synchronization, separate analytics SDK, location feature, chat or multiplayer.

This page is hosted on Guildite. Use of the Guildite marketplace is covered by the Guildite privacy policy.

Information stored on your device

Path Daily keeps the information needed to resume puzzles and remember your choices in the app’s local storage:

Puzzle progress
Room, Android’s local database library, stores puzzle paths, completions, elapsed times, hint counts, Scout and Rescue ability usage, and personal bests. Saved daily completions support streaks, Super Hard badges and weekly completion stamps.
Preferences and counters
Android DataStore stores your age-group choice, appearance, music, sound, haptics and animation settings, tutorial status, hint credits, session counters and advertising limits, including ad counts and cooldown times.

These records support gameplay, settings and ad limits; the app does not upload them to a publisher-operated server. Puzzles, artwork, system fonts, music and sound effects are available locally without downloads. Adult advertising and consent services can use a network connection as explained below.

Age selection and younger players

The first-run choices are Under 18, 18 or older, and Prefer not to say. Only the selected group is saved locally. We do not ask for a birthday or verify your age through an account or identity document.

Players choosing Under 18 or Prefer not to say receive unlimited free hints. In both modes the app makes no advertising requests and does not initialize Google’s advertising SDK or User Messaging Platform (UMP). Result sharing is disabled in these modes.

Clearing Android app storage resets the age choice along with all saved progress and preferences.

Advertising and privacy choices

If you choose 18 or older, Path Daily uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. UMP checks consent status and displays a consent form when required before the advertising SDK is initialized. Advertising proceeds only when Google’s consent system indicates that ads may be requested. In Settings, Ad privacy choices opens Google’s privacy options when that option is required and available.

Adults may choose to watch a rewarded ad for an extra hint credit. A credit is added only when the advertising service confirms that the reward has been earned. Interstitial ads are limited to eligible breaks when continuing from a completed practice puzzle: none in the first app session, at least three practice completions since the last interstitial, at least five minutes since any fullscreen ad, and at most three interstitials per local day. Daily puzzles and tutorials have no automatic ads. Unavailable ads do not block continued play.

Information Google may process

When adult consent or advertising services are used, Google may receive consent choices and device or network information. Google’s advertising SDK disclosure describes IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions such as taps and video views, performance diagnostics, and device or account identifiers such as an app set ID. Google uses advertising SDK data for advertising, measurement and analytics, and fraud prevention. Path Daily does not include a separate analytics SDK.

The app explicitly removes the Android advertising-ID permission. This does not mean Google receives no other identifiers, device information or network information. Path Daily has no location feature and does not request precise device location; an advertising provider may infer approximate location from an IP address.

Google states that advertising SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Its collection and processing depend on the SDK, privacy choices and configuration. See Google’s privacy policy, Google’s advertising information and Google’s advertising SDK data disclosure.

Sharing is voluntary

Adults can open Android’s share sheet to share a text result, including the puzzle date or practice difficulty, completion time, hint count and, for Super Hard, ability usage. The app passes that result to Android’s share sheet; if you select a destination, that app or service handles the information under its own policy. Path Daily does not automatically publish results or upload them to a publisher-operated server.

Retention, security and deletion

Local progress and preferences remain in the app’s storage until you clear that storage or uninstall Path Daily. Android backups and app-data transfer are disabled by the app’s backup configuration. Local data relies on Android’s app storage protections; no storage method can guarantee complete security.

To delete local information, open Android Settings → Apps → Path Daily → Storage (or Storage & cache) and choose Clear storage or Clear data. Menu names vary by device. Uninstalling also removes the app’s local data. Clearing the cache alone does not remove saved progress.

Deletion resets progress, personal bests, hint credits, the age choice and preferences. There is no cloud copy to restore and no Path Daily account to delete.

Clearing app storage does not delete results already shared elsewhere, support emails you sent, or information already processed by Google. Those records follow the recipient’s retention and deletion policies. Google explains its retention practices and privacy controls in its privacy policy.

Third parties and support

Google AdMob and UMP provide the adult advertising and consent services described above. Android provides local storage and the share sheet. A sharing destination receives only the information you choose to send through that flow. These services may process information in countries outside your own under their respective policies.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you send so we can respond to your request. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Our contact address uses Gmail, so Google also handles email delivery and storage under its policies. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the enquiry, related follow-up and any applicable legal obligations. You can contact us to request deletion of correspondence; we will explain any reason it must be retained.

Following a link to this policy or another website opens an external service. The site’s privacy practices apply to that visit; this does not upload your locally saved puzzle records.

Contact and policy updates

For questions about this policy or a privacy request, contact Guildaig Ltd at [email protected]. We cannot retrieve progress stored only on your device.

We will publish policy updates on this page and revise the date above when practices change. Review this policy when updating the app. Any consent needed for advertising is handled separately through Google’s consent flow.
